AGAFER Construction and Trading (“AGAFER”) was established and registered with the Department of Trade and Industry in 1984. It is among the few well-established and reputable Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB)-licensed contractor in the Province of Cagayan.

From a simple construction firm, AGAFER has evolved into a highly-diversified construction firm, taking on large government projects awarded by different national government agencies such as, the Department of Public Works and Highways, and the Department of Agriculture, and by various provincial and local government units in the country, thereby gaining a decisive portfolio in engineering, procurement and construction.

Due to its remarkable track record of delivering quality projects, AGAFER has recently been awarded with several major government projects, which include : Construction of Bank Protection Works along Cagayan River at Iguig, Cagayan and Aggunetan, Lasam, Cagayan (PhP 945, 476,150.82) MFO 2: Flood Management Services: Construction/Maintenance of Flood Mitigation Structure and Drainage Systems Cagayan River Flood Management Projects-Cataggaman, Tuguegarao City Spurdikes Extension, Cagayan 3rd LD , Sta. 0+000 to Sta. 0+714 with a total contract price of One Hundred Eighty Six Million Eight Hundred Seventy Six Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy Pesos and 27/100 (Php186,876,770.27); the Construction of Flood Control System in San Vicente-San Isidro Section, Iguig, Cagayan; and the Cagayan River Flood Management Project in Alibago, Enrile River Excavation among others.

Over the years, AGAFER has continuously built its reputation and credibility through its team’s hard work as seen in its several accreditations and certifications. To date, it has been accredited as Triple A (“AAA) contractor by the PCAB. AGAFER Construction and Trading also prides itself as Large B for Roads, Highway and Bridges and Flood Control. In 2015, AGAFER successfully secured ISO 9001:2008 Certification in Quality Management System and ISO 9001:2015 in 2018. AGAFER is also an accredited well-driller by the National Water Resources Board. Furthermore, it is an institutional member of the Philippine Water Works Association (PWWA) since 2012. In 2016, the founder and CEO of AGAFER, Mr. Eulogio F. Agatep II, was elected as PWWA’s President.
